What this covers

This page explains what Daniel Burns collects when you call my business phone number, text me, or send a request through the form on this site, and how it is used.

What I collect

When you call and I do not answer, I receive your phone number. If you reply to my text, I collect what you write, which may include your name, the service you need, your address and how urgent it is. If you use the request form on this site, I collect the name and email you enter and the message you write.

How I use it

I use it to text or email you back, to understand what you need and to follow up with you personally about your request. Replies to my texts are drafted by automated software, and I read them.

Who handles it

The portfolio inquiry form uses Google Apps Script to save your name, email, message and received date in a Google Sheet and email Daniel a copy. If you enter a business or website, it is included in your message. The form also sends the page path.

I use service providers to send texts, run the automation, draft replies and store requests in a spreadsheet. They process your information only to provide that service to me.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long I keep it

I keep these records until you ask me to delete them, or until I no longer need them to follow up on your request. To ask for deletion, write to danielburns.professional@gmail.com.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any text and I will stop messaging you. Reply HELP for help. The rules for the text follow-up are on the SMS terms page.
